A private installation with over 2200 Reflections (mirror paper butterflies) enclosed within a 400sq ft space housing a dining room to celebrate Temple Emanu-El's 150 year anniversary. The space also featured 3 full length mirrors with the quote

 

"All life is sacred and must be protected, no human is inherently more important than another, and though we may look different from one another, the infinite nature of the Divine means that we are all equally created"

 

in Latin, Hebrew, and Arabic. Visitors were able to experienced an immersive Kaleidoscopic effect created by the mirror butterflies reflecting the light of a chandelier reacting to cello music, this visual effect echoes the plural noun for a group of butterflies- a Kaleidoscope.
