The Gastronomical Paradox is an artistic/social studies project guided by one question.
- Why are non-local cultures' delights, like food or music, welcomed while the individuals from those same cultures not appreciated or respected?
I decided to embark in a journey of discovery and embrace the full spectrum of this paradox by enjoying a meal in 12 different restaurant from 12 different countries. During the meal I made a point to take in the atmosphere, the decor, the music playing, the working staff, the patrons, the interaction among the individuals, and of course the food.
